Teaser Tuesday #3

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"They laughed, but he didn't seem to hear it, holding my eyes so singly with his own that I almost believed he'd carved a small, private world for us that no one else could reach.

Vulnerable, he mouthed."

~Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

That's my teaser! What's yours?

  1. OK, I heard such awful things about the guy in this book that I've passed it up but that sounded very passionate. Should I reconsider?

  2. Nice one! I've had mixed feelings about picking this one up, but with my friend's assurances and this snippet, I'm probably going to give it a try.

    Thanks for stopping by earlier. Happy reading!

  3. Jenny: I'm not sure yet... kind of on the fence as far as how I feel about it. I can say that it's getting better (I'm only 1/4 through it), which I take as a good sign. :)

    Marla: Happy reading to you too!

  4. Nice teaser. This one is definitely on my wishlist - maybe when my tbr pile is a little smaller.
