Follow Friday #6 & Book Blogger Hop #3

Alright! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and is a way for book bloggers to get to know each other better. Just go to her page and follow the directions, and you'll be making some new friends!

Q. What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)

A. I'm kind of at a loss here, because I'm out of the loop on the news since I, well, never watch it. But, in any case, I think double bolting the doors and boarding up windows seem to be in order, on both accounts. And carrying bricks in purses and pepper spray in pockets... Lol.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { Parajunkee.com } and any one else you want to follow on the list
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - backseatreader.net
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. LINKY TOOLS IS BACK! I paid for the subscription - finally so now you can add the links to your own post!!! To add the code to your own post click on GET THE CODE here under the list of names.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Jennifer @ Crazy for Books.

This week's question (not really a question):
“Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!”

Hmm... This one's tough. I think I'm going to say my I'm Feeling Dorktastic Today post. It's all about childhood, and hanging on to it as long as you can. No matter how lame it seems to others. Sometimes reading childhood books, it just makes you feel great inside.

I'll probably be doing my IMM on Sunday with everyone else this week, since I'm not prepared today. ^_^ I'll have more to report by then ANYWAYS.

  6. As the saying goes – the best defense is a good offense. I’ve got that covered! My preparations for the zombie apocalypse are not just intricate, they’re stylish. I’m not talking “last stand” stuff here. I mean to lure in the zombies and slaughter them wholesale while we sip champagne and watch.

How am I going to do that? Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and read all about it.

    Thank G-d it’s Follow Friday!

  9. Haha, even if I had made a plan, which I haven't, I'd probably just break down and/or panic anyway. I'll never be prepared enough... Lol.

    Happy weekend! Old follower here!

  10. I liked your Dorktastic post too! I only read a few Sweet Valley books, but I was all over the Baby-Sitters Club. And when they started coming out with mysteries, you would have to pry them from my zombiefied hands.

Sadly, I had them all stored in a box in the basement of our old house and it completely flooded (think waist high water) so I lost them all. But I too would love to restart my collection. I was able to save all of my My Little Pony collection though. ^_^
