Update Thursday #48

Welcome to Update Thursday, my own personal meme of sorts where I post an update of the goings on at my blog, with reading, with writing, and beyond. Feel free to borrow the idea from me for your own bookish musings.

Reading...

Books I finished this week:
I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith (Classics Challenge)

Books I'm reading now (and some still):
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier (Classics Challenge)

157 of 1026 E.E. Cummings poems finished (12 this week)

Writing...

I'm in the middle of chapter four, so that's a little bit of progress from last week. I didn't spend too much time writing this last week. There was a preoccupation with putting together packages for online sales and a sudden urge to do some spring cleaning. Cluttered room = cluttered mind. At least, it is for me. And my room has been thoroughly cluttered as of late. Also, I had temporarily loaned my entertainment center to my mom for the living room when we moved here. BUT! She's getting one soon, so it's going back to my room! Must make space! So, a slight delay in the writing (not that I won't still sit down for 10 minutes when I can) as I attempt to clean and organize.

Otherwise...

Just saw on Barnes & Noble's FB page that it's Arts and Crafts Month in March. I never knew that, or if I did, I forgot. I know that next month is Poetry Month and I'd like to do something fun for that. Maybe a little article on my great love for e.e. cummings. Maybe I'll even... share a poem or two of my own. ;) We shall see!

Until next time...

    1. I should try to do something crafty myself. I've been crocheting a little bit. :)

  3. I had the opposite problem to you this week. Have been on a writing frenzy. Though it's winding down and I still haven't finished. And my house is now a mess!

    1. Lol, I am glad you were able to get some writing done. It's always a good thing to be on a writing spree instead of writer's block. :)
