Update Thursday #49

Welcome to Update Thursday, my own personal meme of sorts where I post an update of the goings on at my blog, with reading, with writing, and beyond. Feel free to borrow the idea from me for your own bookish musings.

Reading...

Books I finished this week:
Divergent by Veronica Roth (TBR Pile Challenge)

Books I'm reading now (and some still):
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier (Classics Challenge)
It's Always Something by Gilda Radner (TBR Pile Challenge)

176 of 1026 E.E. Cummings poems finished (19 this week)

Writing...

Not much to report... The only thing I really remember doing is come up with a scene between the MC and her father. I was wanting to actually write it, but my room and work distracted me. I am going to make it my goal to at least write that scene by the end of the weekend (AND finish my room by then so I can get back on track, for writing AND my blog).

Otherwise...

As I mentioned before, my room project has been quite the distraction. It's been very cleansing to get my room organized. And it's been nice to listen to music for hours on end while dancing around my room, which I don't do much anymore. And now... I need to get to work to cover for the girls on vacation for spring break. I just keep thinking, can't wait until my own vacation in May!

Until next time...

  1. Well, at least you're getting your room organized. That's something to be proud of, for sure.

  2. Wow! The room project is getting to be a huge thing! At least when it's all over you'll feel like you can get back to your usual schedule. This whole writing caper is a roller coaster isn't it? Coming up with a scene is something at least. Oh and before I forget, what's with the long break until the next GG episode? I'm going out of my mind!

    1. Yes, writing is quite the roller coaster. But I'm loving it. ^_^ I know!!! Almost every show I watch is running reruns for a few weeks and it's driving me INSANE.
