Stacking The Shelves #1: April Edition

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga at Tynga's Reviews. Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week (or in my case, each month), sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

April's additions to my shelf:

Flash And Bones by Kathy Reichs
Awaken (Awaken #1)  by Katie Kacvinsky

I won the following:

An ebook of Casey Barnes Eponymous by E.A. Rigg

A signed copy of Like Mandarin by Kirsten Hubbard!!!
(plus a Mayan bracelet and bookmarks)

~Remember my post about how I'm constantly temped to buy books I've entered giveaways to win? Some of you may recall from March's book haul that I bought this book. I found out after that post that I won a signed copy from Kirsten's huge Wanderlove Release Day Giveaway. I would call this ironic, but I expected it to happen eventually.

~*~

That was my relatively small (but truly awesome!) month of bookish goodness. How about you? Did you get anything good this week/month?

~Jessica

  1. I do exactly the same thing. I always end up buying books I enter giveaways for because I just can't wait! Luckily (or unluckily) I've never actually won. Good news for you though! I haven't read anything by Kathy Reichs which is a bit nuts since I am completely obsessed with Bones right now.

    1. You need to at least read the first Kathy Reichs book, Deja Dead. I haven't read any more yet, although the second book is in line to be read this year. Totally worth it. :)

  14. I've always wanted to read the Kathy Reichs books. I think it's fascinating that Bones (a show I LOVE) is inspired by her book series...and her real life, I think I read somewhere? Awesome books, Jessica!
