Scarlet Read-Along: Favorite Robin Hood Anything

Welcome to the Scarlet Read-Along!

Marie at Ramblings of a Daydreamer and I are proud to present this read-along event to you.

Today we are going to talk about our favorite Robin Hood anything. There are so many Robin Hood books and movies and TV programs and more. There's a reason why we decided to read Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen. Please link up your post in the comments below so I can read and learn about your favorite Robin Hood thing!

What is your favorite Robin Hood anything?

I don't know too many Robin Hood things to be completely honest, although I still am quite fascinated with the story and characters. One thing that I do know is the movie Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Yes, that's right--the Mel Brooks film. I love his movies. It's funny, I had seen this one once or twice when I was younger on TV, but hadn't seen it in years. So I ended up buying the DVD about a year ago or so and watched it by myself one night... fell on the floor laughing out loud approximately fifty times. How had I not bought this sooner?! *sigh* Anyways... my point... for anyone who enjoys both the tale of Robin Hood and Mel Brooks humor, they would love this. It's highly recommended on my end. (In fact, you should buy it now.)

I planned on watching this before this discussion post, but time got away from me the last week. I still want to watch it before the month is up though. ^_^

  3. Would you believe I've never seen this? I'm going to have to see if my library has it or if I can get it cheap online somewhere. I love funny stuff...of course it helps that I'm ridiculously easily amused lol.
