Week Three: Chapters 10-13...
Still so much going on. When Scarlet got upset over somebody not approving of what she does to get the things she gives away, that has to hurt. It leads to finding out more about her past--the heartbreak and the emotions all stirred up. It was intense. I have to say that I agreed with Scarlet when she was saying that it felt like everything was going too well and she could feel something bad coming around the corner. Been there... it's a bad feeling to have. I'd say especially so with the dangers they are exposed to.
One thing I'm NOT going to comment on... those who are reading the book know what I'm talking about... so I am not going to mention it in specifics to not ruin it for those who haven't read it yet. So... I'll leave it at that... *punches fist into pillow*
And then... how that last chapter ended... Whoa... just WHOA... If I had more time to read, I probably would have out of sheer curiosity. I so cannot wait to see how this ends. It's just too awesome and crazy and scary all at once. I love it.

The scene with the Morgans was hurtful. They really annoyed me by singling out Scarlet - do they think John and Rob have food and coins just drop into their laps? How do they think the boys get those things?
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you don't want to spoil! Whoa is right. I loved it. Now I'm ashamed of ever doubting Scar and Rob were meant to be.

DeleteExactly what TG said - where do they think Rob and John get the food and money? It's no different than where Scarlet gets it? I wanted to punch Mrs. Morgan in the face. There's so much happening, I can't believe we just have a few chapters left. I think I might try to finish it today because I HAVE TO KNOW lol
ReplyDeleteLol, I was thinking of doing the same thing! Or at least by tomorrow night. Then I can write my thoughts for the week and the review and schedule it and relax... lol. :P
