Living life to the fullest and making every moment count!

Okay. Every single year I make a promise to myself that I am going to make that year the best year. And every year I break that promise. Seeing every year go by, whether it's a horrible year or just dull and boring, just makes me feel like I'm not using my life the way I should. I am wasting away my youth because I'm too lazy or I'm feeling a little depressed or I don't have enough confidence or I play it safe with things I'm familiar and comfortable with.

I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

I want more out of my life. I NEED more out of my life. And I'm not going to spend any more time dawdling around HOPING things get better.

I am going to get out there and DO things.
I am going to accomplish my goals.
I am going to step out of my comfort zone.
I am going to build up my confidence.
I am going to make more friends.
I am going to not care what people think.
I am going to learn to forgive and let things go.
I am going to be happy.
I am going to be positive.
I am going to have a great time.
I am going to live life to the fullest
and make every moment count!

I started looking at my "Bucket List" on Pinterest, which is called the Jessica List (<--- click there to see it). I began to look for more things to add to that list, and added well over 100 things to it. A number of them I KNOW I can do this coming year. I've even written them all down on paper and started to plan on when I can do them. I also printed out Susannah Conway's Unravelling The Year Ahead workbook and I've written out all sorts of things for 2013. It's cathartic to let my mind wander and think about my life and what I want out of it. I'm already building my confidence by being positive for a change.

2013 is going to be MY year.

Many hugs to all of my friends out there reading this and I hope that all of you have a wonderful year as well!

Jessica

  3. I'll be interested to see how the workbook works for you. I'm working through a similar sort of thing but by Leonie Dawson.

  4. This list is perfect. This is the last year of my 20s so I'm going to make it count too :) I love all the things on your bucket list! Especially the one about someone winning a stuffed animal for you!

    1. OMG. When I read that your word was "Possibilities" I was like WAIT, wasn't that MY word?!?! Then I remembered that my word is "Fearless" and "Possibilities" was one of the other 4 words. LOL. I'm excited for you too!!! It is going to be a great year for both of us. ^_^
