Awesome Things That Have Happened While I Was Away...

There were several pretty awesome things that were revealed and shared and happened while I wasn't frequenting my blog/other blogs/Twitter/Facebook. So I feel the need to gush over some of the awesomeness that has been going on when it comes to bookish and other fangirl and squee inducing things of mine. ;)

1. Entertainment Weekly shared an exclusive picture from the Divergent Movie of the knife throwing scene. There was also a picture of the set of Divergent posted to Twitter. Seeing these little things is getting me SUPER EXCITED to see it in theaters. I loved the book so much, I can't wait to see it brought to life. ^_^

2. Judy Blume's Tiger Eyes has been made into a movie and will be out this summer. Starring Willa Holland, the girl from The OC. This book is one of those books I remember very well from my childhood. When I first heard about it being made, I was skeptical mostly because of the small budget they had, but it looks like it's going to be very good.

3. The exclusive trailer for the long anticipated The Hunger Games: Catching Fire that debuted on MTV. I cannot tell you how excited I am for it. I STILL need to read Mockingjay. I think I'm going to make it a summer read.

4. Castle had its 100th Episode! OMG. And because I was running around like crazy, I didn't get to watch it until like more than a week later. But DUDE. It. Was. Awesome. Ever seen Disturbia or Rear Window? Oh they channeled that like no tomorrow and in such a classic Castle style, it had me laughing so hard that I fell on the floor. Literally. It was just. PERFECT.

5. My zoo has new Lemur babies!!!!

6. The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones Official Trailer:

Those are some of the little things I enjoyed seeing and watching. Have you seen anything new or official that has you excited? Tell me about it!

  1. I didn't even know half of these books were being made into movies! There's just so much going on in the world of books that it's hard to keep up. I'm a fan of the official Vampire Academy facebook page and they have so many updates it's hard not to get swept up in the hype!

  2. I love that they are making so many movies based on these awesome books but at the same time I have such a great picture in my head I fear they just can't hold up to it.

  3. I still need to read Divergent and City of Bones. And would you believe that's the first time I'm seeing the trailer for Catching Fire? Well first two times, I had to watch it twice lol. I didn't get the MTV awards so I missed the premier and then meant to look it up online but kept forgetting. It looks sooooo good. And lemur babies! How excited must you be about that lol

    1. I say definitely pick up Divergent ASAP, but if you're planning on seeing City Of Bones when it comes out, do that one first. I had totally forgotten about the trailer until I saw it posted on Facebook the following day, lol. YES! LEMUR BABIES! I still need to go out there, I'm not that far away now. ;)
