It's funny, as excited as I was to start writing at the beginning of this year, I probably did more revising at the end of last year than the first few days. I blame The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer on part of it. The other part is my own. I kinda can't wait until I'm done revising the NaNo novel, then I can get to the one I started last summer again. I'm going to set a goal for myself: Revise 3,000 words by next Thursday. I've got about that much done so far. I hit a dead end on the second chapter... I had originally been adding in back story there and I'm thinking it needs to be reduced (possibly by half) to keep the flow going. No need to bore the reader by going into excessive detail.

Is this the first time you've read The Hunger Games? I haven't touched my NaNo novel either and just keep thinking up new novel ideas or trying to revive other novels.
