This song... OMG, I swear, I used to be obsessed with it when it came out. I would dance around my room and belt out the lyrics. For some reason, a lyric popped into my head right before work the other day and I grabbed the CD as I went out the door and listened to it over and over all the way to work and back. I kept giggling every time it restarted. I'm crazy. It's just one of those songs that puts me in a good mood.

Ok, so you wanna know something weird/creepy/funny? My song for today was a Killers song too until I remembered it was Thanksgiving and I had wanted to a tribute to my mum lol. Not enough people know the Killers! They've been one of my favourite bands for ages, so I'm really excited to know you like them too. :-D And this song is definitely one of those ones that gets stuck in your head on repeat. Plus I heart Brandon Flowers...yum.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so funny! :D I don't really know too much by them, I'm mostly obsessed with this song. I know the first few songs on Hot Fuss, and then a couple newer ones. I need to listen to the rest of their songs sometime--I've listened to the whole album at least once or twice, but it never really made it into a regular rotation. Oh yes, he is very fine. ;)
DeleteHot Fuss is awesome, as is...umm...Sam's Town? And Day and Age. I've missed a few albums in there, and I think they've released a new one? Like I've said, I suck at keeping up with new music lol. I loved them back when they were an indie band...do you remember when they were on The OC? Hardly anyone had even heard of them back then but I was like OMG THE KILLERS! lol
DeleteI actually just finally bought the two Trapt CD's I didn't have yet, so I do the same thing with new music... I still haven't bought John Mayer's latest album and I adore him!
DeleteYes!! I loved seeing them on The OC. I totally knew who they were before then and I was so excited to see them performing... even though they didn't perform the above song. *sad face*
How catchy is this song?? Even if you're not strictly a Killers fan their songs just stick in your head. That one line you've highlighted is going to be stuck in my head all day now!
