Their fake relationship is a twist of fate.
Sabrina Cassidy believes in fate. So when her fiancĂ© breaks off their engagement, she’s convinced they’ll get back together eventually. But fate was not on her side when it brought Jack Brenner into her life—and work. Frustrating, gorgeous, and cocky, Jack has an offer that Sabrina can't refuse. Not if it means getting the life she’s always imagined.
Despite being one of the town’s most eligible bachelors, Jack has a reputation that’s working against him. He has to convince his father—and his company’s board—that he’s ready to settle down if he wants a promotion. But convincing Sabrina to be his fake girlfriend turns out to be the easiest part. What he didn’t count on was their intense attraction and how easily their lie would escalate. Sabrina’s still hung up on her ex, and Jack will never settle down. But fate has other ideas…
My Thoughts:
I have to say, Entangled knows how to pick some great authors and stories. This one is from the Bliss imprint, which is a little different than my usual Brazen choice, but still a great one. Brazen books have more passion and heat, and the Bliss books, at least this one, are very, extremely sweet.
You know when you put two people in a situation like 'faking a relationship' that it's going to stir something up in them. For Sabrina and Jack, this is definitely the case. They have these kisses, and they're not ordinary kisses. I was swooning and wishing I were Sabrina at those times. I couldn't get enough of the two of them together.
Fiance by Fate was a glorious ride. It's a very clean romance, so almost anyone who enjoys a good romance would adore this. I mean, I did. Jennifer Shirk impressed me with her ability to tell this charming story. It made me want to check out other books by her, so you know it's made of win.
