Except Beth has a way of stumbling into trouble, and when the man Alex is hunting starts targeting Beth, Alex has to decide between duty and the woman who has stolen his heart.
My Thoughts:
With a cover like that, you'd think you can't go wrong. While it had it's edge of steam, the story didn't draw me in as much as I hoped it would.
I did like that there was a little bit of suspense outside the potential romance between Beth and Alex. It seemed to take too long to get to the romance due to all the other things happening, but it was still exciting. They were cute together though, very cute. And the way Alex wanted to protect her and care for her, so sweet.
The Wedding Trap is a quick romantic tale with intrigue. If you like some mystery and action mixed in with your romance (and don't forget the humor!), this would be the way to go. Adrienne Bell can weave a nice mix of everything.
