Hearts can change in just one night...

One Night with her Bodyguard:

As the introverted daughter of a Hollywood mogul, Claire tries to avoid the limelight. She isn't used to be surrounded by other people all the time--particularly sexy bodyguard Michael Lyle who is always, always around. She thinks he sees her only as a job, until one hot night...when all the feelings hidden inside his strong, stoic demeanor are finally released.

One Night in the Ice Storm:

When she returns to her hometown for the holidays, Rachel doesn't expect to be stranded in an ice storm with only David Harris for company. Eight years ago, David took her virginity and then broke her heart, and she doesn't plan to forgive him. She thinks she doesn't care about him anymore, until one hot night...when the ice finally melts.

One Night with her Best Friend:

Kate prides herself on her well-organized life--with job, boyfriend, and best friend clearly in their places. Aaron has been her best friend for fourteen years, and it's never been romantic between them. She thinks it never can be, until one hot night...when Aaron becomes much more than a friend.

My Thoughts:

I'm going to break this down one by one, because each of them deserves it.

One Night With Her Bodyguard was a sweet and appealing little story. The romance was woven in with a bit of intrigue where her life was in danger, which definitely brought everything to a boil. Claire and Michael were dynamite together--you can see how much they care, how protective they are. It all tied together nicely with a very happy ending.

One Night In The Ice Storm was a wonderful heartwarming read. Rachel and David had the kind of past that really messed with their present, but they made it through life fairly well. Being together again brought everything back to the surface, all the feelings and the reasons of how it all went wrong. And then they found a way to make it all right again.

One Night With Her Best Friend was my absolute favorite of the three. So charmingly sweet, you can't help but be drawn in by Kate and Aaron. You can see their friendship, and how it blooms into something more. It's just a hint, but it runs deep. His adoration was, well, adorable, and their first kiss? Oh, swoon. This story may have been short, but it definitely has it all.

All in all this trio of novellas was a worthy batch of stories from Noelle Adams. I've grown to love her books, and these three were very romantic. Can't wait to see more like this!
