My Thoughts:
Isa and Marc didn't leave each other six years ago on good terms. Their relationship was shattered when an unfortunate incident occurred involving her father stealing from Marc. They run into each other after all these years and Marc realizes how much he still wants her despite the betrayal. When he finds himself alone with Isa, they kiss... and holy first kiss after six years! *fans self for a minute* She's upset with him for doing that and she gets away from him. Then Marc finds out that someone is trying to claim his company is doing illegal business. To prove those claims wrong, he hires Isa to verify the truth. The close quarters cause their feelings to come back. But will it be for good or just for now?
Claimed is unique and sweet! Isa's former life of being a jewel thief turned legitimate gemmologist really added to the story for me. The romance between them is clear, and you can feel the struggles as they get over the past and trust in a possible future. Very interested in finding out what happens next in The Diamond Tycoons series by Tracy Wolff!
