Scarlett Ashford needs a date for her father's wedding. Only she doesn't just need a guy in a suit—she needs a bodyguard. The only problem is that Jackson Grayson is big and gorgeous and way too sexy. So much so that Scarlett's tempted to let this hot bad boy ruin her oh-so-good reputation...

Jackson doesn't do relationships and he certainly doesn't sleep with clients. Yet he can't fight their inconvenient attraction, or how badly he wants Scarlett's warm and wicked curves against his body. He wants her. Now. Even if it's just for one night, and even if walking away the next morning isn't as easy as he thought.

Besides, one hot and incredibly intense night between a bad boy and a pampered princess could never turn into something real...could it?

My Thoughts:

I've never met an Entangled Brazen book I didn't like... From the start, this book had me reeled in. I couldn't remember the synopsis when I picked this one up, so it was nice to see how it developed without knowing all the details.

Scarlett was the kind of woman who pulls no punches. She knew what she was looking for when she walked into Jackson's office and she made it clear without holding back slightly.

"And kissing? Will that be cheek contact only, a brief touch of the lips, or major tongue penetration?"

Grayson 1, Ashford 0.

"Major tongue penetration might be required. Does your standard fee cover it, or would that incur hazard pay?"

He gave her a slow grin, not bothering to hide his interest. She'd thrown down the gauntlet.

Grayson 1, Ashford 1

While Jackson isn't allowed to do anything with Scarlett since she's a client, the temptation is there, and neither one of them can avoid it when they have to fake a relationship. Once they cross that line, oh boy does it get steamy! Of course, social standing is in the way of their pseudo-relationship. He's middle class, she's wealthy. He doesn't think he'll ever be the kind of man she would choose in the end.

Hold Me Until Midnight was entertaining, sweet, and sexy. The dynamic between Jackson and Scarlett is hot--not just physically, but also in every other aspect. There's no denying the depth of their feelings. I enjoyed Scarlett's determination to get what she wants. There should be more female characters like her out there! Christina Phillips really brought it with this story.
