The Latest With Me
AHHHHH! Okay, I'm not freaking out, just a tad slap happy at the moment. Ever since finishing my first full write through (see above link), I have been in a pretty decent mood, aside from the occasional mood swing. Lol. Um... I can't really think of anything special. I had a good time with my best friend last Saturday night. I am *trying* to get a group together to go roller skating this Sunday. It's been years since I've gone, I'm quite overdue for the exercise and the fun.
Have a great weekend!!!
Have fun roller-skating! I assume it's like riding a bike... you never forget how?
ReplyDeleteIt kind of is! I put on rollerblades a few times last year and it was easy to fall back into. :) Thanks!
DeleteOh man! I wish I was closer and could go roller skating, I have been wanting to do that again, that and bowling! Gosh I miss those fun nights!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? It would be great to do stuff like that together. :D
DeleteI'll go rollerskating! *tries to find someone willing to drive that far* I'd probably fall flat on my face since I haven't done it in about 15 years, but I used to LOVE rollerskating. I didn't know The Secret of NIMH was based on a book! That was one of my favourite movies as a kid. I'll be anxious to hear what you think, and then I might have to pick up the book. Have you seen the movie?
ReplyDeleteLol! OMG. New bucket list idea: we must must must go rollerskating when we finally meet. :D Yes! It was based on a book. I read it and saw the movie when I was in school and I adored the story then. I remember LOVING the book a billion times more than the movie, although the movie is pretty good. Picking it up now is like being a kid again. I missed that feeling! ;)
Deletehaha, absolutely! There used to be this awesome place an hour away called Celebrity Sports World and we went every year for school and it was a big rollerskating rink/arcade. That's where I learned to skate. I was terrified at first and would hang on to the boards the entire way around and when I came to the openings, I would get down on my hands and knees and crawl - that's how scared I was lol. Finally I let go and started skating on my own and I was really good at it and I LOVED it. I'd probably be back to the crawling now though since it's been so long lmao. You could pad me up with pillows so it won't hurt when I fall lol.
DeleteI'm going to have to see if the library has NIHM - I'm curious now! :-)
I had some rollerblading experience before I started rollerskating, so I think that helped me out a lot. But I believe that if you've done it before, you should be able to get back into the groove of it pretty easy. I'll skate next to you until you get used to it again. ;)
DeleteYay! You will adore it. :D
