Some mistakes are worth making...
Lauren Layne's Best Mistake series continues with MADE FOR YOU.
When the Wrong Guy is Oh-So-Right Will Thatcher is exactly the type of sexy playboy good girls like Brynn have always avoided. And yet there was still something about him she just couldn't resist. When Will moved across the country three years ago, Brynn vowed it was time to put him behind her. She never thought Will might have other plans . . . Back in town, Will intends to get what he's always wanted-gorgeous, unforgettable Brynn. For years, he tormented the untouchable ice princess in a desperate bid for her attention. Now he has a new plan, and he'll do anything to rewrite their stormy past. This time, he's out to show Brynn that the imperfect man might be the best mistake of her life . . .
My Thoughts:
We got to meet both Will and Brynn in the first The Best Mistake book, Only With You (which I loved). There were little snippets following their storyline, which ended in a "must find out what happens" fashion. So, thank goodness for book #2!
Brynn keeps trying to stay away from Will, but she can't help but be drawn to him. He's so clearly perfect for her, yet she can't completely give in. I found myself quite annoyed with her throughout, hoping and wishing she would realize what she had right in front of her. Will is determined to prove to her what they mean to each other. Her ridiculousness might keep her from having a happily ever after if she's not careful, though.
Made for You was a lovely story giving us a very satisfying conclusion to Will and Brynn's story. I found myself on the edge of my seat, sitting there with fingers crossed and needing to know that everything happens the way it should. Lauren Layne is high up on my 'snag a copy of the latest' list. I can't wait to see what's next. If there's another book in this series (which I'm hoping there will be), it will be in my hands, er, on my Nook.
My Rating:
I really enjoyed this one and yeah so on the edge of the seat too! I wasn't sure for a spell if they'd really figure it out. Whew!
ReplyDeleteI was getting worried about it, lol, but, thank goodness. :P
