Falling in love? Courtney Grayson has been there, done that.

Men, who needs them? Love wasn’t everything she thought it would be. This time around she’s doing things differently. She hasn’t sworn off men for good, just isn’t interested in settling. Trusting someone with her heart again? Someday, but not today.

Falling in love? Sorry, Clay Bradshaw is not the guy for you.

He’s never been in love and he doesn’t see it happening. Hooking up can be fun, but more often than not, women are a distraction he doesn’t need. He’s a busy man, and doesn’t have time to date, let alone fall in love. Will someone ever change that? There’s always a chance, someday.

Life doesn’t always go as planned, and love may find them both on the other side of someday.

My Thoughts:

This book was my first taste of Carey Heywood and let me tell you, totally and completely worth it. I devoured this book and adored it the whole way. It was full of life and honest and romantic--and those are things more stories need to have because it makes them worthwhile.

Courtney is having a horrible day...and then she meets Clay. He is, in my opinion, the perfect kind of man because he's not some arrogant jerk. He's a real, honest-to-goodness gentleman who happens to have tattoos. Their relationship was lovely--it didn't jump straight to love, it slowly built from friendship into more. What's even more wonderful is that there were so many things happening with family and friends around them intertwining with the romance. Everything was brilliantly played, and you can't help but be enchanted by it all.

The Other Side of Someday was a beautiful story from start to finish. I loved the sweetness of the romance and how everything went so much deeper than just "love" for Courtney and Clay. This book had everything, and it made me want to read everything I can by Carey Heywood.
