On the beach. In a public restroom. On the side of a highway.
Louisa Cunningham and Ward Brannon are on the run, and they only have three objectives:
1. Visit every state.
2. Have sex in every state.
and
3. Forget everything they’ve left behind.
My Thoughts:
The end of Her Wicked Heart sort of left us hanging, not to mention wondering where the rest of Louisa and Ward's story would go after all the secrets came out. And I wanted to see what else is in store in the books that follow this one. Talk about being doubly anxious to see what's next! Don't forget the fact that this is a road trip book, too. *winks*
Louisa and Ward are each dealing with serious situations in their lives, so now they're attempting to run away from it all. Unfortunately, running away isn't solving the issues at hand. In fact, they seem to continue to catch up with them over and over again. They try to comfort each other while dealing with the inner conflicts, but sometimes stubbornness rules the day. While both Louisa and Ward are ignoring the reality they left behind, they're trading it in for what could be something even more important. Can their feelings for each other blossom? Can they be brave enough to go back?
Lost and Found is a passionate and captivating conclusion to the Her Wicked Heart series. Even though there are moments when you want to throttle Louisa and Ward, you realize that they're only human and they're learning. The romance is woven throughout, but it isn't all this story has to offer, which is great. Can't wait to see what's next for the Cunninghams and from Ember Casey, too!
My Rating:
I love road trip books! I like hearing this one has more than just the romance. That's my biggest issue with romances. I need some plot to go with steaminess and it's not often there. The cover of this one made me giggle btw. It looks like they feel asleep kissing.hee hee!
ReplyDeleteBahahaha! Now that you mention it, it really DOES look like that. :P
