Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. (Future post topics can be found here.)

Today's Top Ten topic (say that five times fast!) is:
Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

I'm pretty good at guessing which books I know I'm gonna absolutely love, so I bet this is going to be a difficult one to narrow down to only TEN. But I'll give it a shot. *cracks knuckles* For the sake of fairness, I'm only including one book per author because let's face it: When we have an author we love, we just know there are SEVERAL books by them that will be ☆☆☆☆☆, right?

1. The Risk  by Elle Kennedy

I haven't met an Elle Kennedy new adult book I didn't like! Near the end of last year I read The Chase, the first book in the Briar U series, which introduced the main characters of this book. I am SO THERE for this story.

2. The Learning Hours  by Sara Ney

The Douchebag series is one I can't get enough of! I've read three of them so far, and have two to go. Even though I don't want it to end, I'm excited to read the next one!

3. The Kiss Thief  by L.J. Shen

I have heard AMAZING things about this book. Last year I read my first (and second) L.J. Shen books and I can't get enough.

4. I Can Be A Better You  by Tarryn Fisher

This book was originally titled Bad Mommy and I downloaded a sample when it first released. I thoroughly enjoyed the sample and wanted to read more, but I didn't have any extra money to purchase, so I ended up completely forgetting about it until recently. I love psychological thrillers.

5. The Roommate Agreement  by Emma Hart

Best friends to lovers? Roommates to lovers? SIGN ME UP. Honestly, both of those tropes are like crack to me, and Emma Hart is a "must read every book she's written" kind of author for me, so I am beyond psyched to pick this one up.

6. Devil In Spring  by Lisa Kleypas

Lisa Kleypas was one of the earlier historical romances I read and absolutely loved. I've picked up several of her books since and have yet to find one I didn't completely adore.

7. Always Wicked  by Ember Casey

His Wicked Games was my first book by Ember and most certainly NOT the last. I've enjoyed every single book by her and I cannot wait to read the alternate POV.

8. A Simple Wild  by K.A. Tucker

This is one of those books I've seen floating around for years. I haven't read any books by K.A. Tucker (it seems like a rite of passage, though, doesn't it?), so I don't have much to go on aside from reading excerpts, but the premise for this one is straight up my alley.

9. The Rogue Not Taken  by Sarah MacLean

Every book I've picked up my Sarah MacLean has been amazing. I would expect nothing less from the rest of the books in her catalogue!

10. Desperate Measures  by Katee Robert

I read Katee Robert when I began delving into the world of contemporary romance and completely loved every book I picked up. Her foray into the Wicked Villains series intrigues me and I'm a sucker for some steamy romance!

There you have it!

Are any of these books on your Top Ten this week? How about on your TBR? Let's chat!
