Then there’s Shay, the boy she saved, even though she wasn’t supposed to. She’s torn between the life she’s told she should have and the life she wants to have. Follow your heart or what you were born to do.
Not too bad, the characters are likable, even all the secondary ones. I just couldn’t get into it. Sometimes very detailed paranormals are too much to handle when I know so little about myths and legends and lore. I might take a look at the second one, but I have a feeling I won’t.
