Four friends
Each a Best Man at a wedding
One chance to get it right

Jase Foster can't believe his bad luck. He's been paired with the she-devil herself for his best friend's wedding: Emily Klein of the miles-long legs and killer smile. She may be sin in a bridesmaid dress, but there's no way he's falling for her again.

They can barely stand each other, but given how many of their friends are getting married, they'll just have to play nice-at least when they're in company. Once they're alone, more than just gloves come off as Jase and Emily discover their chemistry is combustible, and there may be something to this enemies to lovers thing after all...

My Thoughts:

Mira Lyn Kelly's Dare to Love series had me hooked from the start, so when the opportunity arose to join her street team, I jumped at the chance. I was super excited to be able to read May the Best Man Win before it was released, and my excitement was justified because it was pretty awesome!

Jase and Emily have a history together, one that led them to avoid each other at all costs. So when they have to be around each other for the duration of the wedding, you better believe things get a bit heated. Enemies to lovers always creates that perfect tension: the one where you know they supposedly hate each other, but the hate passion turns to love passion. And oh boy did their love passion explode!

I enjoyed watching them learn to trust each other after everything they've been through, not because they're forced (even though they are at first), but because they want to. They learn how to move on from the past and discover what they want in the future: each other.

May the Best Man Win was definitely a win in my book. Mira Lyn Kelly has delivered yet another solid and sexy story that will keep you turning the pages. Jase and Emily will draw you in with their romance and keep you there until the end.

Brynn Ahearn is gorgeous, fun, and not just a sports nut but an NBA camera woman whose work takes her all over the country. In other words, she’s a walking male fantasy—or at least, she would be if she weren’t so busy keeping the guys at bay. The fact is, with Brynn’s con-man father fresh out of jail and back in her life, dating is just too risky. Haunted by memories of her past, she couldn’t ask any man to gamble with his life for love—even one as addictive as Ford Meyers.

Ford can’t believe his luck when he walks into a bar in Chicago’s Wicker Park and gets an eyeful of Brynn, the one that got away. After the gorgeous redhead blew him off in college, Ford got on with his life and made his fortune as a bestselling game designer, but he’s never found a woman who compared to Brynn. No stranger to success, Ford is used to getting what he wants—and after a scorching stolen kiss, what he wants is a second shot with his first love. To get it, he just has to convince her that he’s man enough to take on the past she can’t leave behind.

My Thoughts:

When you start a new series, you never know what to expect. Will you enjoy it? Will the books following the first be just as good or better? Will you like it so much that you'll reread it? With Mira Lyn Kelly's Dare to Love series, I discovered that it's possible for a trio of books to be absolutely amazing. I made the grabby hands the instant I found out the series was continuing. After I loved Truth or Dare and Touch & Go, I was hoping and crossing my fingers for another book.

We meet Ford in the first two books. I'm going to straight up admit that Ford was kind of "meh" to me as a secondary character, but when he was on his own in this book... Wow. He's pretty amazing. The background story of Ford and Brynn is something you didn't anticipate, even though it's touched on in the synopsis you don't get the full scope until you read the book. Their romance was timeless, and to be back in each other's lives could be the best and the worst thing to happen to them. Will the secrets of their past continue to haunt them or can they find a way to move forward together?

Now and Then is a spectacular romance, definitely adding to the beauty of the stories in this series. Ford and Brynn's relationship was so touching. Their love story made me nearly melt in a puddle at how sweet it was. I'm not sure if this is the last of the Dare to Love series--if it is, that stinks but I'm so glad to have read it; if not, then YAY because I can't wait for the next one. I can't wait to read anything I haven't read by Mira Lyn Kelly no matter what.

Ava was giving it her college best, really she was, but there was no stopping the freak-out in progress.

Sam was kissing her.

His lips were on hers in a soft press that, based on its closed-mouth properties alone, should have been benign. But this was Sam. And he was in strict violation of a no-fly zone their friendship never breached. Sure, she and Sam were touchy-feely friends of the highest order. He always had an arm around her. Her legs draped over his. Something. She was a cuddler, so contact in and of itself was no big thing. But there were lines friends didn’t cross. Lines that started above the knee and ended below the belly button. Panty lines. Bust lines. And most important, lip lines. Which meant the intimacy of that taboo contact, even as chaste as it was—well, it was crossing wires Ava had spent twenty years trying to keep straight.

So the freak-out?

Yeah, it was on.

Because now how was she supposed to look at Sam’s hands without thinking of them warm at the sides of her face as he lowered his mouth to hers? How was she going to look into his eyes without seeing that last instant when they dropped to her lips? And how the heck was she supposed to look at that gorgeous, easy smile of his and hide the fact that after twenty years of wondering what his kiss would taste like, she wished the only one they were likely to share through the course of their entire lives had lasted just a little longer, gone a bit deeper, been a smidge more real?

Because already it was over.

Five beats of her heart and Sam was withdrawing. Slowly.

Really slowly, actually. And then after a point, not at all. The contact that had been a soft press was still there, but only in its most minimal form.

“You’re freaking out,” Sam stated quietly against her lips, one big hand moving from her cheek to brush back through her hair.

“A little.” No point in denying it. He knew her too well to miss the tension radiating off her in waves. They’d be lucky if Steven couldn’t catch it from where the ass was still watching them from the door.

Sam let out a low laugh, his mouth curving against her own and making that place deep inside her heart ache from the overwhelming pleasure of it. Another light caress through her hair, and she had to remind herself this was for show before she did something crazy like melt into a touch that felt altogether too real, but wasn’t.

My Thoughts:

After reading the first book in the Dare To Love series by Mira Lyn Kelly, I absolutely, without a doubt, had to read the next book. I knew it would be good, but I worried a teeny bit that it might not be as good as Truth or Dare. Oh boy was I WRONG. It was just as good, if not MORE.

Ava and Sam are best friends, only she's loved Sam forever. Of course, she'll never tell him and ruin their friendship. Then it just so happens Sam is the one that helps her out by pretending to be her boyfriend to keep a stalker-like guy from bugging her anymore. He decides to make it very clear to the stalker that she's taken...so he kisses her. Once... twice... three times... And it works, a little too good because they just went well past what their friendship was, and the temptation is too strong to turn back. Is it possible for Ava and Sam to keep things casual and go back to the way things were?

Touch & Go for all seriousness pulled me in and didn't let go. I couldn't get enough of Ava and Sam, and I fell more and more in love with them individually AND together. And those kisses... THOSE KISSES... Talk about melt you completely fantastic. If you love a good best friends to lovers story, this is absolutely the one you need to pick up. Also, pick up Truth or Dare, the first book. You won't regret reading them!

In a deliciously sexy twist on the classic game, Mira Lyn Kelly proves that when playing truth or dare—always choose dare.

After her one attempt at commitment ends with the discovery that her fiancĂ© already has a wife and kid, Maggie Lawson vows that the only people she’ll love ’til death do they part will be her friends. Unfortunately that means Maggie letting her bestie rope her into a year-long dating dare: score a new date each month or pay a penalty. Seems doable—until Maggie’s date stands her up, leaving only one option: the sexy stud who just moved in upstairs. The problem? He and Maggie can’t stop fighting—and that’s just the beginning.

His name is Tyler Daniels and the last thing he needs is his neighbor distracting him with her girl-next-door smile and sharp tongue. Tyler’s in Chicago for one reason: to woo back his selfish ex in order to reclaim the child he once thought was his—and that means keeping Maggie out of his bed. A tall order, since Maggie has become a bigger temptation than he ever expected to face. But before they can even consider leaving the past behind, Maggie and Tyler must accept a brand-new dare: real, forever love.

My Thoughts:

This story, you guys. It is one of my favorites of the year. It had a slow start, but it started to pick up and I ended up being so sucked into it, I couldn't stop. I wanted--no, I needed--to find out what happened next for Maggie and Tyler.

The two of them don't hit it off so well at first. But that's okay... because when Maggie has Tyler take her on a date to help complete her dare... SPARKS. FLY. You know the fan I am of first kisses... this one just about blew them all out of the water. I read it, and reread it. Oh, it was lovely. Of course, the sparks can only last so long when Tyler has his own agenda when it comes to his ex. He has good intentions, he really does, but it's so hard to see him wanting to turn down a chance at something wonderful with Maggie. But, sometimes life has other plans, and maybe--just maybe--they have a chance after all.

Truth or Dare was beautiful and wonderful and amazing. The whole story took me for a spin, one that I wanted to stay on for a long time. Everything built up naturally, and the romance was genuine and sexy. I could read this one so many times and never get tired of it. Ever. I'm so excited for more books by Mira Lyn Kelly!

“Wow, that was— I didn’t really— But I should have—” Maggie stammered breathlessly, trying to force herself to let Tyler go. Step away and put the distance they needed back between them. Only with their eyes locked, breath mingling in the chilled night air, and the kiss she should have known better than to ask for still fresh on her lips, the most she could manage was flexing her fingers enough so her hands were free to coast down the thick column of his neck, over the front of his coat, and when the temptation was too great, back up again.

She didn’t want to let him go—didn’t want their moment to end.

“With your other dates,” Tyler began slowly, his eyes squinting closed. “Do you ever let them kiss you more than once?”

She wanted to laugh, because the idea of willingly letting any of those other guys back at her mouth was beyond ludicrous, something she ought to have had some smart quip about—only in that moment nothing seemed funny.

This was the end.

Forcing a shaky breath, she shook her head. “No. Never.”

Tyler nodded, his eyes dark and unsettled. “Good.”

His jaw set as though he were getting his head back into the right place. The place where they moved on from a kiss the intensity of which she couldn’t remember experiencing before and, putting it behind them, went forward as friends.

Like she wanted.

Deep down, she knew it was true, even if it didn’t feel that way right then.

The hand at her hip tensed. And when she looked back into Tyler’s eyes, she saw the dying embers of a conflict she hadn’t realized he was fighting. A conflict she didn’t fully understand until the divide between them closed again. Tyler’s lips came down on hers, hard, and then he was holding her so tight, and her hands were in his hair again, pulling him closer as he bowed her back, devouring her mouth like he was starved for the kiss he’d just had. Groaning against her when she met his hunger with the equal of her own.
Her back hit the door and everything inside her went hot and liquid, needy and intense. Any shred of control or restraint tore free of her grasp, violently stripping her thoughts of reason and rules. Because all she wanted was this.

Tyler.

Reminding her of everything she’d forgotten.

Teaching her things she hadn’t even known.

Waking the places within her that had been numb for so long, they burned coming back to life.
