Q. How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
Apparently I only read about 1-3 books per week, depending on my time. 99% of the time I read a hard copy of a book, although I do have a few e-books on my laptop. I am probably going to buy a Nook soon though, because there are a lot of e-books I'd like to check out that are only available in that format.

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Jennifer @ Crazy for Books.
This week's question:
"What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?"
Wow... I don't know how many I've even seen. I've seen all 3 of the Anne Of Green Gables movies--the first was the only one that did the books justice, the other two, oh please don't get me started. As far as current movies go, the only ones I've seen and read books of are the Twilight series. The first one was hardly like the book (except in a handful of ways), and the 2nd and 3rd were much MUCH closer to the book. I think this means I need to read more books that get adapted to movies. ^_^
In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
I got one package in the mail (even though I have a couple more coming, they're just delaying and will be revealed next week).
What did I get?
Dylan by Lisi Harrison
Endless Summer by Jennifer Echols
Polo's Mother by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor (book 4 from The Cat Pack series)
Anne Of Ingleside by L.M. Montgomery (finishing my collection of the Anne Of Green Gables series of books!)
Happy FF and BBH everyone! I'm off to work.

Hi! This is my first time participating in Follow Friday and the Book Blogger Hop! I liked your post. Are you planning to post a review of Endless Summer? I like Jennifer Echols, but I haven't read this one yet. : )
ReplyDeletesemisweetbookblog.blogspot.com if you want to come check out my posts.
I remember loving Anne of Green Gables as a girl. I read the book after seeing the movie.
ReplyDeleteI usually read about 1-3 books a week as well, there're so many books and so little time, haha!

Semisweet: Hi! I'm hoping to post a review of Endless Summer once I read it (probably pretty soon). I ended up getting it since it's 2 books in one: The Boys Next Door with the sequel Endless Summer. I had the first book, but the sequel didn't come separate, so I had to get it. Jennifer Echols is a good author, so I have high hopes, especially since I loved The Boys Next Door.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! Once blogger lets me, I'll make sure I'm following everyone. ^_^

Oh, Anne of Green Gables! I totally forgot about that one. Loved it. The others definitely weren't as good as the first.
