In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
It's where we post about the latest books we've purchased, gotten from the library, or received for review... it doesn't necessarily have to be ones you got in the mail. Although a lot of mine DO come from my mailbox. :)
I was a good girl last month, didn't spend much. And a lucky girl too apparently since I won 2 books! Woot!!! How does that happen? I never win things! Plus I started to do NetGalley, which isn't going too well. My Nook and these PDF's are not working right. So I have to read on the computer instead, which is going to be annoying. We'll see how it goes. (Unless someone can help me get it to work on my Nook)

PS: This is weird... I thought I had scheduled this for Sunday, lol. Oh well!
Looks like you've had quite an awesome month. I wish that I could help you with your Nook issue, but I am somewhat e-Reader clueless. If memory serves, there are converters that can alter the format of an e-book, but since those are from NetGalley the formatting might be different. I hope that someone a little more tech savvy can give you better instructions.
ReplyDeleteI love the Secret Society Girl series! So glad to see another blogger picking them up. I've also been wanting to read The Radleys; I hear it's a really fun take on vampires. I'll wait to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeletegerat books this month!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I love Gossip Girl. Never read the books though just the show :)

Kathy: Thanks! :) I've kinda decided that even though NetGalley seems really awesome, it doesn't seem like it's for me, at least not until the bugs get worked out.
ReplyDeleteTG: I hope I can get into both of them soon. They sound great. :)
Carrie: Thanks! :)
Giselle: I started with the show, them moved on to the books out of curiousity. The books are okay, good for background. :)
I think you can get nook versions of your book from NetGalley. I'm not totally sure since I've just signed up and I haven't gotten books yet, but you could try getting Nook versions instead of pdf. I love ebooks, but that is the extent of my knowledge :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's adorable that (1) you make your posts at 1 am and (2) that you are proud of not spending very much money on books that include an 11 book boxed set :D Happy Reading!

Jessica: Yay! Somebody noticed! I started scheduling them on purpose (since I usually can't be on the computer at 1 AM without waking people up). And I got such a great deal on the boxed set, I couldn't pass it up, lol. Thanks! (PS: I'm totally following you via Facebook/Google Reader, I just wasn't able to comment on your page)
ReplyDeleteAngel: I've heard lots of good things about it too, so I can't wait. :) Thanks!
I'm also reading The Girl in the Park. I've also got Bright Young Things in my TBR pile, hope I get through them quickly as I've gotta get through so many library books LOL
