Update Thursday #31
Welcome to Update Thursday, my own personal meme of sorts where I post an update of the goings on at my blog, with reading, with writing, and beyond. Feel free to borrow the idea from me for your own bookish musings.

NaNoWriMo starts on November 1st! All of November has been scheduled. The rest of my obligations for the year have been postponed until December, unless I find myself able to squeeze it in between NaNo writing. I am working out one last obligation for the month. If you need me, I will still be here, just in tiny increments. ^_^

Reading, Writing...
Books I finished this week:
~Virals by Kathy Reichs
Books I'm reading now (and some still):
~Portal by Imogen Rose
~The Twisted Thread by Charlotte Bacon (NetGalley)
~Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson (Off The Shelf challenge)
~Double Clutch by Liz Reinhardt
Off The Shelf Reading Challenge Progress Link (3 of 5 finished) ~ends 12/31/11
Reading: Not a whole lot accomplished, but I finished one book the day before NaNo. Hopefully I can still try for at least one book per week. I'm considering dropping my Goodreads goal to 70 instead of 75 (since I originally thought I could only do 50, 70 is not a bad total). We'll see how the month goes.
NaNoWriMo: At the two day mark, I have reached (wait for it) 3438! Not too bad. I've got today off so I'm planning on getting a little bit more ahead since I have a couple long days away from home this weekend.
And Otherwise...
Okay. What else is going on... um, er, uh... I have a headache? Seriously. My brain is totally not functioning. I slept in too late this morning, and I've been online for far too long catching up on things and subsequently getting distracted when UPS dropped off my mom's new bed and then lunch...
*sigh* Back to NaNo before I get distracted with more, lol.
Until next time...
~Jessica
Good on you for keeping up with the reading Jessica. I have completely stopped because I don't have time. I hate when you want to write but you're too sick to. That's how I felt last week when I was sick the whole time and was on vacation. So much wasted time. I'm in the throes of organising my sisters wedding so no writing getting done. You know you're a writer geek when you're blogging when you should be getting your nails done!
