The Latest With Me
I don't know what it is, but this last week just seemed to hate me. There were no major catastrophes or anything, so please don't worry! It just boils down to Murphy's Law. Sort of. I think I just need to get out of the house and do something fun, get my mind off reality. I mean, 2013 is supposed to be epic, right?
*sigh*
Other than those little things, I've been fine. Keeping up with my daily/weekly 2013 goals, working toward accomplishing some of those things on the Jessica List. Hopefully I'll have more to say next week! ^_^
Have a great weekend!!!
You always manage to do so much in a week!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it doesn't feel like it. ;)
DeleteI can understand your feelings on this last week, so far 2013 has been a bit of a challenge and we're only weeks into it. However, I still believe that this year will be Epic! Best wishes to you and congrats on keeping up with your goals!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow always brings a fresh start!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I especially love that about tomorrow. It's like in Anne Of Green Gables, "Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" I really need to focus on that more. Thanks for the reminder! :D
DeleteYeah, 2013 was supposed to be awesome. As if is, I've done nothing but work late every night. I hope this isn't how the rest of the year is going to be this way. I look forward to your thoughts on Elixir. I've been wondering about that one.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna MAKE it be awesome, lol. Work, ugh. I may have to work a little extra myself soon. I don't want the rest of my year to be full of work. Bah! :P
Delete*kicks this week and Murphy's Law for being mean to you* When you get a chance to reply to my email will you tell me some of the things from your Jessica List that you're doing/attempting to do? I need to pick something easy that I can do and feel better about myself lol...so many of the things seem like future things or things that are dependent on other people or money or seasons or something. I hope you have a great weekend and manage to have some fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They totally deserved getting kicked! ;)
DeleteI should be able to reply today or tomorrow, so I'll let you know what I'm up to there. You're right, there are so many things you need someone else, or something else, to do. There are a few little things that can be done in the meantime. :)
Thank you! I hope this weekend is a nice relaxing one. You have a great weekend too!!! :D
I can't wait to read your review on Rapunzel. I like the rewritten/modernized versions of fairytale classics. They are fun.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to write it! It was so good. :D
DeleteGlad to know you liked it!
DeleteI just finished reading Hopeless by Colleen Hoover today...I'm a bit still in the shock and awe part of my feelings but I loved it. In case you haven't read it, It's a book I would recommend
I've seen it around but I can't remember what it is about. I'll have to pull it up in a minute and check it out. Thanks for the recommendation! :)
