The Latest With Me
I totally reached an epiphany this week. How so? Well, I'll be sharing those thoughts in a post soon since it's a bookish epiphany. I'm actually going to start a little series of articles on being a book blogger. I've had all sorts of thoughts come to mind on it and since they amuse me greatly and I'm pretty sure a lot of you would TOTALLY relate, I figured I should start sharing it with you and see your thoughts too! I'm hoping to have the first post up the beginning of September. So, stay tuned!
I'm SLOWLY getting caught up on reading. I've been sneaking in some children's books and comic books, which I think is bringing me more satisfaction than I thought. I originally started doing this to help my Goodreads goal but it's turning out to be pretty fun to switch it up a little bit with reading. Plus, it makes me want to read "big girl" books even more. Lol.
Hope you have a great weekend!!!
As you know, I read a few Garfield books a couple months ago to catch up and I enjoyed them so much I didn't even feel guilty for what I thought of almost as cheating since I was so behind in my GR goal. I think you have to read fun, lighthearted stuff once in awhile. Besides, you and I are such big kids it only makes sense we'd mix it up with those types of books anyway!
ReplyDeleteYep! That's one thing I was thinking of. I just finished one this week. Totally worth it. :) YES. It makes perfect sense for us to do this. :D
DeleteOoh, Foreplay's cover is really pretty. Can't wait to see how you like this one, Jessica :D
