Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For the Rest of 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke And The Bookish. Head over there and join in on the fun!

Topic for this week:
Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For the Rest of 2015

It was difficult to narrow down, partly because some of the ones I would have picked earlier this year I've already read because I got ARCs and partly because some authors haven't picked release dates yet...but I managed to put together a list of 10. There are PLENTY more that I'm really excited for outside of these, but these are definitely high up there. ^_^

~*~

1. Be My Temptation (The Crawford Brothers #2) by Rachel Brookes

2. Getting Rough (Monkey Business Trio #2) by C.L. Parker

3. Pulled Under (Kill Devil Hills #3) by Sarah Darlington

4. Etiquette with the Devil (The Ravensdales, #1) by Rebecca Paula

5. Something in the Air by Marie Landry

6. Focus on Me (In Focus #2) by Megan Erickson

7. Irresistibly Yours (Oxford #1) by Lauren Layne

8. Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things by Jenny Lawson

9. Ryker (Cold Fury Hockey #4) by Sawyer Bennett

10. All Wound Up (Play by Play #10) by Jaci Burton

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Best Realistic New Adult Books

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke And The Bookish. Head over there and join in on the fun!

Topic for this week:
Top Ten Best Realistic New Adult Books

You know what I'm talking about... there are so many books out there labeled "New Adult" and some of them are either not remotely "New Adult" (clearly more erotica/adult contemporary/contemporary romance/women's fiction, etc.) or they're so full of unnecessary angst and ridiculous drama you need to have a pillow nearby to punch all your angries out in it.

BUT!!!

I promise you, there are some really amazing, honest to goodness, true New Adult books out there. Every last one of the books on this list are absolute perfection when it comes to embracing the genre. They have just the right amount of romance coupled with learning how to make it in the real world for the first time. A few are hard hitting with serious issues that the main character/love interest have to face, others are just coming-of-age, and some of them? Well, bring a box of tissues and brace yourself for the feels.

I highly recommend every last one of these books, and will continue to recommend them FOREVER.

Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Authors I REALLY Want To Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke And The Bookish. Head over there and join in on the fun!

Topic for this week:
Ten Authors I REALLY Want To Meet

~*~

FYI: These are in no particular order...

I wanted to write little notes under each author, but I kept using the same adjectives and didn't want the post to sound saccharine and like I'm a crazy fangirl. But I will say this...

  • These authors write amazing stories.
  • These authors are sweet, kind, genuine, caring, super fun, funny, and overall beautiful.
  • I've known some of these authors for years, kept in touch with them since my early blogging days, and we haven't lost touch.
  • Some of them I've met more recently, but have discovered that they're absolute dolls and I want to continue following them and chatting with them.
  • All I want to do is hug them and be BFFs with them forever and ever

Wait... that sounded saccharine + crazy fangirl...

Oh well!

Honorable mentions.....

My wonderful Authorteers friends,
(I would have included them in the top ten, but that would have been cheating since we're all BFFs and everything...)
