BEFORE YOU TELL ME I'M CRAZY for buying so many books, let me tell ya, I got them for AWESOME deals. And by awesome deals, I mean I got THREE of them for FREE and the rest of them I paid either 99¢ for OR no more than $4.00. Otherwise, you would probably only have seen MAYBE 1/4 of the above. I've been trying to cut back as much as possible, especially since I have so many books to catch up on. This month, I couldn't pass up the deals. I just couldn't. I've decided that August will be "catch up on some reading and try really hard not to buy any books" month. There are a couple I have my eye on, but I'm restraining myself. I will reward myself when I catch up. *MUST GET CAUGHT UP BECAUSE I WANT THOSE BOOKS!!!*

That was my awesome month of bookish goodness. How about you? Did you get anything good this week/month?

Yeah, I somehow bought Insurgent for my Nook. I went online to buy it and discovered I clicked on a link for the Nook book version instead of the hardcover and was too tired to realize what I did until a minute later. *extreme facepalm moment* So when I won a giveaway, I picked Insurgent.

~Remember my post about how I'm constantly temped to buy books I've entered giveaways to win? Some of you may recall from March's book haul that I bought this book. I found out after that post that I won a signed copy from Kirsten's huge Wanderlove Release Day Giveaway. I would call this ironic, but I expected it to happen eventually.

That was my relatively small (but truly awesome!) month of bookish goodness. How about you? Did you get anything good this week/month?

What's Your Status? #9

What's Your Status comes from Butterfly Feet Walking On Life. The object is to post what you have finished in the last week, what you are currently reading, what you plan to read in the coming week, and what you want to buy next. You can also post about reviews you've written and memes you have done, though these aren't mandatory. I will also be posting the status of my reading challenges.

~*~

Currently Reading:

What To Buy Next:
No idea! I didn't even buy the last few things on my "to buy next" posts from here, so I probably should do that first!

Reviews This Week:
None. I have a handful in the making and have yet to post any of them. They'll be up next week.

Memes This Week:

Challenges Update:
Goodreads 2011 Reading Challenge: At book #32 of #50, which is more than halfway!
Off The Shelf Challenge: I've read 1 of the 5 books, This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. I'm postponing this challenge until I finish the Summer Romance Challenge, since that one ends sooner.
2011 Summer Romance Challenge: I've read 1 of 8 books. Book # 2 The Other Boy by Hailey Abbott was this week.

So... what's YOUR status?
